Over the last couple of years, the Federation held town halls at campuses across the province to consult indigenous students about their experiences in post-secondary education. The Federation recently launched the ReconciliACTION campaign. The campaign advocates for post-secondary institutions to follow through on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s (TRC) recommendations to post-secondary institutions.

More specifically, Call to Action #16, which urges post-secondary institutions to “Create university and college degree and diploma programs in Aboriginal languages.”. We are also planning our second annual Prairies Racialised, Indigenous Student Experience, which will bring students from Manitoba and Saskatchewan together for exciting workshops and discussions.
